3 Unclassifiable Tracks Unlike Anything Else – Ear To The Ground Music

DYGL – "Half of me"

That gives us all kinds of feelings. The styles of rock are well mixed and yet fresh and original. It definitely has a 90s vibe, with damn singable lyrics reminiscent of Blink 182. This may seem strange, but the serious DYGL have a rare talent for melody and emotional sound. The Tokyo Act is one of the more surprising acts we've heard in rock, and we can't wait to hear more of a truly audible and original act.

Julian Lamadrid – "Another Journey"

This is difficult to fully explain. Dramatic is a good start as the video creates a surreal space. The sound is deeply emotional, if not sentimental too. The electronic vibe is existential as it explores a cool room acoustically. It makes sense that the Mexican-based artist would have a background in television and cinema. There is something expressive and dynamic about his approach to music and we are there for every little bit.

Mother Sun – "Marbles"

We get a lot of psych pop sent out, but none of it is as adorable as this one. Mother Sun hit every real, sun-drenched note on “Marbles”. The track is beautifully relaxed while still continuing into a hopping land of trumpets that we can't get enough of. The video is very impressive and fun too. While you might hear songs that share a room, nothing is as beautiful as “Marbles”.
