The road to The Chainsmokers' fourth album, TCS4, has officially begun after the duo announced the release date for a new single called 'High'.
The Chainsmokers' Drew Taggart and Alex Pall stunned fans this week by appointing doubles to promote the new music and sharing a series of tongue-in-cheek videos on their TikTok. The look-alikes — one of whom is actor Ryan O'Flanagan, who has appeared in New Girl and American Vandal — even appeared at a recent Las Vegas gig to fool the crowd:
Out tomorrow, January 13th, 'High' will be the first new music from The Chainsmokers since 2019's album 'World War Joy'. Watch a snippet below noting that "the next chapter has arrived."
The Chainsmokers took an extended break from social media back in February 2020 when they told fans they were taking time to nurture their "next chapter in music."
"We've never been more inspired and are already working hard on TCS4, but we'll be taking a break from social media (minus a few commitments) to give it the attention it needs," they said at the time.
They appear to be in full album mode now after sharing a video on TikTok with the caption "It's almost time #TCS4" on January 10th. They haven't announced a release date for the album yet.
