After the internationally acclaimed release of their debut collaboration Snowblower on Octopus Recordings in February 2021, Kuukou label boss Simina Grigoriu and Milan-based producer Stiv Hey are now teaming up again to prepare for the release of their incredible follow-up album, Remote Alliance.
Now available through Simina's longstanding imprint Kuukou Records, Remote Alliance is the latest techno weapon to add to the extensive musical arsenal of the German imprint as Simina and Stiv join forces to deliver a second offering of gigantic proportions.
Driving and aggressive, while remaining nuanced and deliberate at the same time, the impressive single pulsates with dark midnight energy throughout its duration, while the formidable producers continue their endless exploration of soundscapes in the fascinating depths of techno euphoria.
An intoxicating mix of complicated rhythms, rolling acid basslines and masterfully manipulated vocal samples, the unique underground treatment gradually unfolds over the course of the seven-minute cut, while the two producers unravel a complex carpet of enticing soundscapes and melodic breakdowns to create another extraordinary work to deliver showcase in the avant-garde techno production.
