Road to nowhere – the hypnotic two-part EP by the German brothers Santé & Re.You – is now available via their newly launched imprint SPF21 +.
After more than a decade of extremely successful solo careers and corresponding individual projects, the EP "Road to Nowhere" Santé & Re.Yous is the first joint production for more than eleven years and the first release of their upcoming debut album. probably early 2022.
With two brand new original tracks representing some of the finest avant-garde interpretations of deep, melancholy house and trend-setting electronica, Road To Nowhere is an exquisite delivery of smart, innovative dance music from the shapely producers who bring LSF21 + to the market armed with an impressive arsenal Career publications such as Desolat, Rekids, Supernature (Santé) Kompakt and Mobilee (Re.You), to name a few.
Opening of the double-sided package with the fascinating title track Road to nowhere, Santé & Re.You draw on their combined experience and combined creativity to deliver a strikingly dark underground cut that is equipped with complex analog textures, reduced piano refrains and a chugging groove that drives the opener over its five-minute duration . This slowly burning offer from Santé & Re.You penetrates the soul with mind-changing tones and a masterfully manipulated topline by singer Biishop (Anjunadeep, Get Physical). .
On the flip side, and bringing the EP to an end with an ethereal finale, the fraternal outfits demonstrate their inimitable production qualities as they embark on a trippy journey through consciousness to bring us Faithful. Working with UK-based Zimbabwean singer Oluhle – real name Sukolunhle Ncube – the duo combine organic melodies and lethargic beats with shy hooks and Oluhle's subtle vocal choruses to complete a remarkable debut album on LSF21 + and one of the most intriguing new releases of 2021.
