from 3rd-5th June 2022, SAGA festival will return to his native Romania for its second edition in Bucharest. Before the event returns to the capital, preparations are underway to improve the experience even further over the next year, having just announced that the SAGA Festival 2022 will now take place in the immense surroundings of Bucharest's National Arena and the surrounding park. The SAGA concept celebrated a successful premiere in September of this year at the extensive airport site of Romaero SA. Event organizers ALDA have spared no details to make SAGA one of their most haunted and impressive productions to date, with a sparkling roster on six stages, impressive drone shows, secret DJ sets and more on an unforgettable weekend.
The “Take-Off Edition” of the festival was a huge success with the Romanian line-up, and the follow-up edition is to take place in the new stadium setting again in the summer. SAGA will build on its young but stellar reputation by attracting around 150 of the most popular international and local artists on behalf of mainstream, house and techno, not to mention an impressive audience and production of the highest quality.
With the announcement of a brand new venue for 2022, three headliners were also announced ahead of the three-day festival's return to Romania in June. The main stage energy is brought by three SAGA debutants from all corners of the world. The first is an international superstar Afrojack, who will turn up the loudspeakers in the National Arena when he greets them in Bucharest. Even from a distance, the second edition of SAGA will draw on the unrivaled stage presence of the respected American producer Marshmello to provide one of his typically versatile and dynamic DJ sets. The trio is complete Timmy Trumpet; Originally on the bill for 2021, he was unable to perform this year and will therefore try to put in a strong performance if his chance presents itself again next year. More artists will be announced shortly, more information is planned for December 2nd. To celebrate SAGA's new home, ALDA has planned something special that will take place in the National Arena December 1; Romania's National Day. To mark the occasion and the exciting news, there will be a dramatic fireworks display around the stadium during an exclusive DJ performance on site, supported by Du Mad and Kov.
The entire event will be broadcast live. During this time, those who have registered for the ticket information on the SAGA Festival website can buy tickets for the next edition at a special price between 19:00 and 00:00 EET, with a deposit of just € 10.
