REZZ and Seven Lions are officially working together on music.
After a fan tweeted REZZ earlier this summer and asked if they'd ever considered working with Seven Lions, an exchange ensued that filled the world of dance music with rumors. "You guys have very different styles, but I think they'd fit together wonderfully," the fan wrote. REZZ replied, saying, "That would be cute" before Seven Lions finally agreed to say he was on board.
In a quick but enticing tweet shared yesterday, October 5th, REZZ confirmed the collaboration: "Seven Lions & I are making some progress on our song."
REZZ has continued to release tracks that stir up the scene. She recently teamed up with fknsyd on "Let Me In," which came out shortly after the release of "Chemical Bond" with Deathpact and "Taste of You" with Dove Cameron. All three will be part of their upcoming Spiral album, due to be released this fall after their North American tour is complete.
Seven Lions recently revealed a diverse remix package for "Shadows", in which Xavi, REAPER and Maor Levi offered to try out the melody. The label boss of Ophelia Records also debuted a huge collaboration with Lights at Red Rocks last summer.
With two drastically different sounds coming together, this collaboration will almost certainly be something fans will love. However, at this point there are no further details on when the track will be released.
