Since inception in 2016, STMPD RCRDS has grown into one of dance music's most respected record labels, and has followed the careers of some of the brightest production minds on the scene. So it's hard to believe that Martin Garrix' flagship imprint has just launched its first-ever remix competition.
STMPD this morning announced the competition inviting music producers to re-imagine the Dutch superstar's collaboration with Matisse & Sadko and John Martin, Won't Let You Go.
Garrix and the label's A&R will select multiple finalists to be considered for two categories: Jury (STMPD's team) and Public (determined by voting). According to a press release from STMPD, the awards include a chance to win an official release on the label. The deadline for remixes is Monday February 14th at 23:59 CET.
The contest organizers have partnered with a new tool called Instantly, which will allow artists to notify their fans about new and exclusive content, and keep those fans up to date with the developments of their favorite creators. Won't Let You Go stems will be sent to all Producer Tier subscribers on the platform via Instantly notification over the next few days.
