A brand new music festival, 20 years in the making, will debut in the nation's capital this spring.

Insomniac Events and Club Glow have announced Project GLOW, the first electronic music festival of its kind at the RFK Festival Grounds in Washington, DC. The two-day, two-stage festival is scheduled for April 30th and May 1st and will feature performances from some of the biggest names in EDM, including Martin Garrix, Seven Lions, Diplo, GRiZ, Krewella and SLANDER. Tickets will go on sale Friday, January 14 at 10am ET and you can buy them here.

The launch follows Insomniac's acquisition of Club Glow in late 2020, expanding the portfolio of the illustrious electronic music event promoter on the East Coast. Founded in 1999, the company has over two decades of experience producing some of D.C.'s biggest and most successful events, many of which took place at the famous Echostage, the city's largest venue at the time it opened in 2012.

"As a Washington native, my dream was to host a festival myself in DC and I'm so grateful for the opportunity to continue growing here," said Pete Kalamoutsos, Glow's President and CEO, in a press release. "After the successes that 2021 has brought for Club Glow, Soundcheck and Echostage, we are ready to embark on this next chapter and welcome everyone to Project GLOW."
