After an explosive lineup never materialized for 2020, many Movement-goers were excited to see what Paxhau would bring (back) to the table for this year.

While this is just a teaser, an impressive buzz is already being generated among fans with the tally of 2020 line-up names, new favorites and festival mainstays.

The main stage of Movement has always been home to dance music heavyweights. This year is no different with Drumcode label boss Adam Beyer; techno titan Richie Hawtin; as well as renowned techno pioneer and Detroit resident Jeff Mills round out the headlining spots for each day.

"Of all the places I've traveled and played music for, Detroit is still the city that remains the barometer of advanced creative knowledge and technology," says Mills. “…The city has taught me never to fear what lies beyond, but to embrace it as a means of advancing the musical art form. I look forward to Movement 2022 – back to the city and to the people who taught me and the world everything.”

Joining us from the last line-up are British drum and bass legends Goldie and LTJ Bukem, who finally get to perform together for the first time as Goldie b2b LTJ Bukem. Other recurring names include The Blessed Madonna, Louie Vega, Maceo Plex, Seth Troxler, Anna, Blawan, Carl Craig, Claude Von Stroke, Nina Kraviz, and Eris Drew b2b Octa Octa.

With the inclusion of so many standout names, you're almost missing out on new additions to this year's lineup that we haven't seen before – LCD Soundsystem frontman and DFA co-founder James Murphy; NYC mainstay and "45 Queen" Natasha Diggs; Rising techno star from Naples Anfisa Letyago; co-owner of Noise Manifesto Paula Temple; and Chicago's singer-songwriter and producer duo DRAMA.

In typical Movement fashion, they've managed to bring a totally original experience to Detroit, emphasizing authenticity and a lineup that showcases diverse styles, identities, artists and more. They've consistently had their fingers on the pulse of what contemporary dance music fans are craving.

Movement 2022 3-Day and 1-Day GA and VIP passes are now available at www.movement.us. Payment plan options are also available.
