In the second year of the campaign, MDLBEAST SOUNDSTORM became one of the largest music festivals in the world.
With performances by over 150 of the best-known artists in electronic dance music, including Armin van Buuren, Charlotte de Witte, Martin Garrix and Steve Aoki, it was obvious that the team behind SOUNDSTORM would leave no stone unturned for the festival's return in 2021.

Now that the 2021 edition is fresh in review, it is clear that dance music fans agree with the organizers' ambitious vision, with over 700,000 attendees reportedly showing up over four days.
That surpasses attendance at many of the world's largest comparable events, including EDC Las Vegas, which welcomed around 450,000 festival-goers in 2019.
The fans had the choice between eight different stages with electronic mainstream and underground programs as well as first-class pyrotechnics and nightly fireworks. The festival not only welcomed tourists from all over the world and world-famous DJs, but also offered local talents such as Wael Kfoury, Nancy Ajram and Elissa a platform to shine together with other regional artists.
As Arab News points out, the success of MDLBEAST is also a positive development for Saudi Arabia's “Vision 2030” program, which includes several far-reaching goals, generally aimed at social reforms that open the country to the rest of the world.
