We have a long history with the enigmatic songwriter Justin Hulsey. His music has been with us since Ear to the Ground began, and like our side, his music has matured. On his latest album, due to be released at the end of this month, the artist continues to work on his extraordinary rock style. However, this is not to say that he has given up on his singer-songwriter chops. It is undoubtedly as hot as ever.
Take his latest release, Suddenly Sunshine, for example, which reminded us of a David Ramirez-style track. Like Ramirez, Hulsey brings along the melancholy and thoughtful relationship research. The bass on this one and the overall production are top notch and the key to appreciating what Hulsey is doing so well on this album. It's a quintessential lovesickness that could easily bond with many. This is his second release from an intriguing and serious album. Check it out below and keep an eye out for our album review coming soon.
