Having the opportunity to ask the love of your life at an exclusive Adele concert is one of the most romantic moments in history.

This is exactly what happened to Quentin Brunson and his seven-year-old partner Ashleigh Mann at Adele's One Night Only comeback concert that aired in Australia last night.

And while Brunson's romantic level may have cast doubt on many planning a proposal in the next decade, it seems that he cannot fully appreciate the one-off proposal.

In a speech on FoxFM's Fifi, Fev and Nick this morning, Brunson announced that he had been offered the option of a proposal after responding to a mysterious ad in the newspaper.

"It was a post I saw online. He was looking for someone willing to propose to their girlfriend in an amazing, epic way in one of the most beautiful places in Los Angeles," he said.

"But they didn't tell me it was an Adele special, so I blindly got on it to do something funny for Ashleigh … and it got a lot bigger than I ever thought it would."

Regardless of how the proposal came about, the moment was tearful. During her performance, Adele introduced Brunson, hinting that something big was about to happen.

"I need every person who is really quiet, all right? If you make noise, I'll kill you, ”Adele told the crowd before Brunson led his girlfriend onto the stage blindfolded. She had noise-canceling headphones on and had no idea it was an Adele concert.

"I honestly thought we were going to take a hay cart ride," she said. "I had talked about going to the pumpkin patch, so I assumed we were doing something this cool," she told CBS Mornings.

Brunson got down on one knee and proposed to Mann – a proposal she happily accepted. Adele then made them sit in the front row and serenaded them with "Make You Feel My Love".

“I literally thought I was going to throw up. I don't think we'll ever get away with it, it's crazy, "Mann told the Australian radio show.

If accepting a surprise engagement at an exclusive Adele show wasn't enough, the couple announced that they sat with many A-list celebrities for the rest of the show.

“After that we were bombarded with a bunch of celebrities, Drake came up to us and of course Melissa McCarthy sat next to us and Lizzo the whole time. And we talked to Kerry Washington and Ellen DeGeneres was right behind us … it was crazy, it was crazy. "
