Gushh – "Drifting through the void of space"
This Bristol-based project creates beautiful styles that we love. With a shoe gauze base, Gushh expands and blooms into a very encompassing sound that we really appreciate. With an artist's project doing all the heavy lifting, listeners can see how talented he is at constructing a structured sound. His passion is to integrate forgotten pieces of media into his work. We think “Drifting Through the Emptiness of Space” is a great example of what the artist is so good at.
Sorrot – "Mountain"
Sorrot's music has an eerie but uplifting quality. The project of the Finnish composer Samuli Turunen, whose compositional talent is revealed by the listeners in “Mountain”. There's a minimalism and a melancholy that we love, but it also carries a contemplative spirit. The track comes closest to his latest EP, which touches on many of the same subjects. We were pleasantly reminded of some of Nine Inch Nails' instrumental work, and if you know us, this is one of the highest praise we can offer.
