EDC Week 2021 has come and gone, and if one Las Vegas venue came out on top, it was Élia Beach Club.
Inspired by the idyllic Mykonos clubs, the glowing venue, Virgin Hotels Vegas, served as a sun-kissed pool utopia for EDC Las Vegas attendees looking to squeeze all the juice out of the weekend. Élia hosted a three-day electronic music spectacle with a bevy of iconic artists throwing stunning DJ sets for dozens of insanely happy people.
After a year lost to the effects of COVID-19, it was clear that EDC believers were on cloud nine.
Élia started the weekend on Friday with a double blow and invited two of the most popular acts of trance music to their stage. Cosmic Gate and Markus Schulz each appeared at the special Dreamstate show, where floral shirts and flowing kimonos adorned the Mediterranean-inspired pool deck of the club.
Cosmic Gate will perform at Élia Beach Club on Friday October 22nd during EDC Week 2021.

Officially in the middle of the EDC week 2021, Élia then welcomed Above & Beyond to perform under its ornate ceiling lights on Saturday. The legendary trance trio and the founders of Anjunabeats – without Paavo Siljamäki – delivered a characteristic performance full of painful, voice-driven dance anthems.
The Above & Beyond set was a frenzy of progressive bliss. It was essentially a nostalgia machine, thanks to classics like "Blue Monday" and the "Peace of Mind" introduced by Zoë Johnston.

Then came the Sunday show, which was like its predecessor – if it had an EpiPen clamped in the thigh. In the last performance of his residence in 2021, deadmau5 – for lack of a better expression – brought it to this.
His special two hour set was raw and visceral, a product of one of the most revered selectors in the electronic dance music scene. deadmau5 shook the beach club to the core, its palm fronds beat to the bass in classics like "Maths", "Strobe" and "Ghosts & # 39; N & # 39; Stuff".

Taking the stage after a luminary like deadmau5 is a daunting task, but it doesn't seem like anyone told Rich DietZ. The fast-growing duo made a statement in their Élia Beach Club debut.
Rich DietZ spelled deadmau5 wonderfully and started their dazzling remix of House's "Love Tonight" before cycling through their repertoire of tech house bombs with enthusiasm and a swaggy nonchalance. What followed was a flurry of house music chaos – a real goodbye after a blissful three-day romp at a club that celebrates the genre.
