Other families of the victims killed in the Astroworld festival tragedy have reportedly turned down Travis Scott's offer to pay their funeral expenses.
It comes after news that the family of 9-year-old Ezra Blount, the youngest victim of the Astroworld tragedy, would not accept Travis Scott's offer to pay her son's funeral expenses.
According to a recent Rolling Stone report, representatives from four of the families of the 10 people who died during the festival announced that they had rejected Scott's offer along with the Blount family's rejection.
The publication reads: “Philip Corboy, the lawyer for the families of the 21-year-old friends Jacob Jurinek and Franco Patino, Tony Buzbee, who represents the family of the 21-year-old Axel Acosta, and Richard Mithoff, the lawyer for the 14-year-old's family John Hilgert, everyone described Scott's offer as an attempt to ease public pressure rather than real remorse. "
"It wasn't an offer that [the Hilgerts] would seriously consider," said Mithoff, the Hilgert family's lawyer.
“Of all the things this case is about, this is the least worrying. This family is determined to make a change and make sure this never happens again at a concert. I find the offer to pay for funerals frankly demeaning and really inappropriate for the scale of the tragedy that was unfolding. "
Buzbee, attorney for the Acosta family, added, “This is bullshit. If you gave a shit about these families, you wouldn't have to put out a press release where everyone can see they are ready to pay for a funeral.

"Let the families mourn and shut up, that's it. When something like this happens, there isn't much someone like Travis Scott can do to alleviate their pain, ”Buzbee continued.
“He says he's sorry for them, but he's quick to say it wasn't his fault. He is no different from any defendant who points a finger at someone else. You don't want funeral expenses from him. Whatever we get from him, we will get through the judicial system. "
