Clap-laden percussion converges with the bass line for an energetic, bursting feeling – which is pleasantly pushed forward with the key-laden swaying around the 30-second mark. The track has an excitingly contagious vibe throughout, another strong show from Evan Isaac.
Evan's newest album, Dogwood Dignitaries Listen to the Baby, was released last week. Listeners can expect quality similar to “Love Always Surrounds Us,” including the vibrant “Dark Room” (see below) released last month.
"The first series of these songs was written at a very turbulent time in my life," says Evan of the album. “I've been forced internally and externally to make some difficult decisions about my future as a musician and artist. When we get to a certain point in our life we sometimes need to judge how, where, and with whom we spend our time. After that there was a period of intense creativity and the elaboration of these songs was almost surreal. "
