The flagship event of the DGTL's extensive global festival series, DGTL AMSTERDAM 2022, takes place over three days and brings back what is famous DGTL opening evening on Friday April 15thbefore delving deep into his traditional weekend event Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th April. On a staggering seven stages with over 80 acts performing over the three days, DGTL is, as always, on track to showcase a spectacular array of artists ranging from global superstars and revered underground icons to explosive newcomers and stars from Amsterdam rich electronic talent rich.
A concert-style event to kick off the festival's return to its home base, NDSM Docklands. The DGTL Opening Night on Friday will see a very special live set from the headliner Monolink, followed by an extended back-to-back session of Âme & Dixon. DGTL fans who are already familiar with the organizers' ever-growing focus on live acts will not be surprised by this latest addition to the AMS edition, which has grown organically from DGTL's existing and world-famous LIVE stage.
On Saturday there is a legendary DJ, producer and all-round pioneer Laurent Garnier Headline the reckoning. Next to him on the top stage is a French compatriot and one of the most important young artists to rise in house and disco. Folamour. Both are supported by a number of exciting newcomers in the DGTL line-up: energetic dance disciples India Jordan; the United Kingdom jaguarwho not only kills in the DJ booth but is known for discovering fresh new talent across the spectrum of diversity and inclusivity; and TSHA, championed by Jaguar and one of the UK's most exciting female electronic music talents. The line-up also focuses on pure quality on Sunday. Nobody other than Paul Kalkbrenner Headlines with a very special live performance, John Talabot & Mano le Tough ensure a highly anticipated back-2-back and the ever-popular Dutch artist Job Jobse closes the modular stage in its characteristic spectacular style for the first time in its DGTL career. The DGTL will also proudly present new live shows by the electronic duo on Sunday Overmono and Berlin house DJ and producer Sofia Kourtesis. Fans of aspiring superstars should also keep an eye out for the Manchester-based DJ and producer Number, known for her versatile interpretation of contemporary British club music.
