Dan Patlansky announces UK tour with Arielle

Award-winning South African singer-songwriter and guitarist, Dan Patlansky, is pleased to announce that he is on a 10 day UK tour in the March and April 2022 to support the release of his upcoming 10th studio album. The American singer-songwriter and Brian May guitar protégé is a special guest on all shows (except Manchester) "Ariel".

Guest of honor Ariel is a 21st century classic rock artist who opened for Joe Bonamassa, Vince Gill, Eric Johnson and Greg Allman. Arielle co-released her own signature guitar Brian May guitars in March 2021. Her ninth studio album, Analog girl in a digital world is out now.

This is the first tour Patlansky has taken since then its perfection kills UK tour in March 2018. Since its release Perfection kills, Patlansky is constantly writing new songs for his upcoming album, which will be released in early 2022.

"I set the new record in mid-2019 in my hometown of Pretoria in South Africa," says Patlansky. “I was dissatisfied with the result and recorded most of the album in late 2019. Covid 19 has slowed down all tour and release options for 2020. This gave me the opportunity to really refine the album with a rewrite of some of the songs. and record some new tracks in early 2021. "

Patlansky continues, “I've spent the last year building a following Patreon side, a subscription-based platform on which I publish guitar lesson material and content on a weekly basis. "

The massive break from normal touring life gave Patlansky the rare opportunity to work on many aspects of his music and craft that he normally didn't have time to look at before the lockdown.

Dan says, "I feel like I've made really big strides in my playing and singing style, as well as writing, arranging and producing, which will be evident when the new record is released in early 2022."

He only played one guitar on Patlansky's upcoming album, which was my newest guitar, Masterbuilt Jason Smith Fender Strat. "It's a replica of my three Strats that I've been playing for years," says Patlansky. “The neck of the 62, the body of the 64 and the color of the Partocaster.
