Control Britney Spears A number of new revelations have come to light in the follow-up to Framing Britney Spears.
In an interview with Variety, Controlling Creators Britney Spears and Framing Britney Spears, Liz Day and Samantha Stark, said it was "shocking" to learn that Britney Spears' phone had been tapped.
"One of the reasons it was so shocking is that we heard rumors about it – people speculated that their phone was tapped or their house was tapped, but no one ever really had any evidence," Day said.
"Most of all, security was just a literal black box because no one knew what they were doing or how they worked," she continued.
“Well, having someone come up with evidence was so insightful and helps us understand how much of what Britney said in court in June could be true. It's hard to understand how this could happen to one of the most famous people in the world. "
Now Spears attorney Mathew Rosengart has filed a new lawsuit demanding that Jamie Spears be removed by September 29th at the latest.
In a statement, Rosengart said: "The unauthorized recording or surveillance of Britney's private communications – particularly communications from lawyers and clients who are a sacrosanct part of the legal system – represents an unscrupulous and shameful violation of their privacy rights and is a striking example of that Deprivation of their civil liberties. He continued, “Placing a listening device in Britney's bedroom would be particularly appalling and confirm so much of her compelling, poignant testimony. Mr. Spears has crossed unfathomable limits. "
