Vancouver-born, Los Angeles-based duo Bob Moses have been at a breakneck pace for the past two years. From releasing their album Desire to filming a live album on the Topanga Hills of Southern California, they have proven time and time again that there is no limit to what they can achieve. The respected duo have now released their first single of 2022, 'Love Brand New'.
Bob Moses also shot a music video in Toronto to accompany the new single, which was directed by Adrian Villagomez. In addition to these new releases, they have announced their third studio album, The Silence In Between, which will be released on March 4th via Astralwerks.
Collaborating with prolific songwriters Michel Zitron and John Martin, Bob Moses wrote "Love Brand New," delivering a mix of '90s alt rock and left-of-center dance music. It's a dazzling single that tells a tale of endless possibilities in a new romance.
"Love Brand New is about falling in love all over again and trying not to lose yourself while navigating the world and feeling like you're seeing everything for the first time, like it's brand new." said Bob Moses in a press release. "It was written with our friends Michel Zitron and John Martin and started in L.A. just before Coachella in 2019. We knew there was something to it, but touring got in the way. We finally got back to it in 2020 and it became one of the first ones ready for our new album. We shot the video in a cold store in Montreal last December – we look warm though."
Bob Moses will soon embark on a 2022 North American tour beginning March 20 in Tucson, Arizona and continuing through May 21 when it concludes in Vancouver. The tour will see the band at iconic venues such as the Greek Theater in Los Angeles and The War Field in San Francisco.
