All the Queen's Horses – "The Troubled Tears of Drury Road"
This Irish songwriting project from Sean Murphy is absolutely captivating. The beauty in The Troubled Tears of Drury Road, and frankly all of its music, is expertly crafted in every serious note. His honest vulnerability is reminiscent of Conor Oberst and Damien Rice, but make no mistake, All The Queen’s Horses have something incredibly unique about them. The songwriting is on a rare level that may not have been heard in a decade of cover music. To say we love the mix of melancholy and introspection is an understatement. His previous single "Jocelyn" won over artists from Coldplay and Fleet Foxes in a prestigious competition. This one could be better.
